Review for "Gossip Girl" by Cecily von Ziegesar

S (or so they call her) comes back from her boarding school in Europe. Rumors start flying when people learn that she was kicked out and with the rumors her old "best friends." Blair and Nate are now dating but when Serena comes back she stirs up her past with Nate. Everywhere Serena goes she seems to cause a commotion, it’s a job for the Gossip Girl.

While reading this book I felt surprised. I knew some schools were really bad with Gossip made this is ridiculous! In a way it was annoying that people that were friends could treat each other like this. Blair was in my opinon very insecure, Serena was a little strage, and all the other characters were pretty boring. Even though this book was not a page turner I think it would make a good TV show. It’s just not the kind of thing to write a book about in my opinion.

Rating: 6/10 I really think that this book was corny beyond belief! It’s the same old stuff all over again! I have read far better books that should have been made into TV shows. (People say the show is better and I would think so too.) The book is by no means bad it’s just predictable, it’s not even Boring. The author does a good job with the writing itself and the characters though. A PG-13 BOOK
