Review for "Mango shaped space" by Wendy Mass

Mia has synesthesia letters, numbers, and sounds have texture, color, and shapes. Mia has kept this from everyone for 13 years until she is forced into admitting the truth. Now she finds out there are other people like her. People start paying more attention to her and she starts finding out more about herself. Then when she loses something she loves forever she loves her gift and uncovers more about herself then she thought was there.

While reading this book I was amazed that some people live seeing these colors everyday. Mia is a very likeable character and I think she is a great person. This book was one of those books that got me to cry (I am very emotional sniffle...), laugh, and throw the book (after I cried). This was a great page turner but unlike most page turners it had nothing to do with vampires, faeries, werewolves, physics, or anything like that. I think it is remarkable that the author could write a book that was so good it made me read it twice! I really think "Mango shaped space" is a must read.

Rating: 10/10 believe it or not synesthesia is real. I thought it was cool that some people wake up and can see sounds and see colors when no one else does. This book was awesome I learned about something I have never hear of. Wendy Mass is an extremely good author.
